Recently, our team participated in the Robots to the Rescue CAD contest hosted by PTC/ Onshape. The challenge was to design a robot to solve any real world problem.
We worked with local FTC team Dark Matter (https://darkmatter14374.org/) to create grocery delivery robots that prevent human interaction. Our robot’s role is to stack and unstack boxes within a delivery truck, and lower them, as well as Dark Matter’s robot, to the ground to be delivered to the doorstep.
We placed 12th out of over 150 entries, and we received the Down to the Details award, earning ourselves a $100 Onshape sponsorship.
